The Cigar Guys Provide Cigar Experience for Yelp.com Elite!

The Cigar Guys were invited to provide Yelp.com Elite Reviewers with a true cigar experience at a recent Yelp.com event!  Taking over Park Avenue Restaurant in Stanton, CA, Yelp.com transformed the restaurant into a 60’s party, complete with Tiki Torches.  The guest. mostly young professionals, were sporting 60’s garb.  The party, sponsored by several liquor companies as well as The Cigar Guys, kicked off with a live band.

We found that most of the guest were new smokers and had a lot of questions about cigars, how to light, how to smoke and how to really enjoy the cigar experience.  Here are just a few of the things people said about the event:

Erica R. said, “Tony is da man, man!  He was very friendly, funny, cool…useful (he he, well, he was!) and just an all around good guy.  I didn’t get to chat with his partner (Alex) much ’cause after first lighting up with Tony, I didn’t think to.  Their patience with newbies, expertise with the pros and professional manners speaks highly of them.  Great job guys!”

Anita L. said, “Just went to the OC Elite event at Park Ave where these guys had a table offering us yelpers some great stogies!  Chris E and I were among the first to get one and soon after, others followed. These guys are definitely professionals. If you tell them what your preference is, they will hook you up with a cigar that is to your liking.  I can’t remember what mine was — my preferences are usually Romeo Y Julieta, Fonseca, Cohiba — but ya can’t get these here and I have no clue what the equivalent is so you have to rely on the experts to steer you in the right direction.
I haven’t smoked one of these bad boys in over a decade and it was certainly a wonderful experience to have one of these again. I still have that wonderful sweetness lingering on my palate and I really do not want to brush my teeth! I want to savor it for just a few minutes longer!”

To be entirely honest I was kind of surprised I actually enjoyed it
They guided me on how to properly smoke it, and it took me a few minutes but I got the hang of it
These gentleman were very knowledgeable and awesome and definitely added something to our event”
